Security deposits are temporarily held funds used to support a trade for a set period. They may apply to different payment methods and regions. When required, a security deposit helps ensure the safety of transactions and supports a trustworthy trading environment. On Paxful, deposits can be as low as 0.005 BTC.
Please note:
If your account doesn’t have enough BTC to cover the deposit, your offer won’t go live.
Your deposit will be released 7 days after your most recent trade.
Some users may have customized security deposit requirements.
You can manage your deposit settings anytime via your Dashboard.
